Best way to catch pike in dams in Northern Ireland?

Starting to go fishing with my dad in dams in Northern Ireland using floats and fly fishing. Not too sure what fish are in the dam but i think theres pike so whats the best method for fishing pike (+ give some tips becasue ive just learned basics!) all help and info appreciated thanks!

I would try some spinner baits or a rapala type bait.

I would try bigger lures and maybe live bait if allowed. These fish are aggressive and need a fast approach. Good luck.

If you want to try live/dead bait, Pike commonly eat dead minnows, suckers, smelt, alewives or other small game fish.

For artificials, try Wobbling spoons like Dardeviles, Blue Fox Aqua Spoons and Len Thompsons.
